Alex joined the team in 2014 and is responsible for managing a number of client portfolios in addition to using her research skills and investment experience to identify and analyse the companies we invest in. She contributes to overseeing our investment process as a member of the firm’s research and investment governance committees.
Alex brings significant investment experience to the team, having joined from Standard Life Wealth (formerly Newton Investment Management’s private client business) where she was a senior portfolio manager, managing private client and trust portfolios and as the lead manager of the High Equity fund. Alex began her career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a research analyst covering both the telecommunications and mining sectors in Europe and Emerging Markets before becoming an Emerging Markets portfolio manager.
Alex holds the Private Client Investment and Management Certificate and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. She holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol and speaks fluent Spanish.
