Caroline has managed global equity portfolios and relationships for international clients and charities, for over 20 years. Her experience as board director and trustee brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of management, culture, and corporate governance to the investment team. She became CEO in 2021.
Her investment career began in 2000 at Newton Investment Management, where she went on to join the board of Newton’s Jersey business and to head up their International Private Clients’ team. Caroline was Newton’s designated senior manager for anti–money laundering and financial crime (2010–2012), a responsibility she also held at Meridiem.
Sharing her knowledge of investing and of managing businesses responsibly, Caroline was a member of the University of Oxford’s Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee between 2015 and 2020. She was honoured with a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford in 2020, serving to help broaden the reach of the Executive Education program at the university. In 2015 she set up a charity focusing on tackling youth unemployment in the UK, serving as a trustee until 2017. For 3 years she co-hosted a female leadership network, “Game Changers,” for female leaders who are actively creating change and are determined to make a positive impact in their world.
She holds an MA (Hons) from the University of St. Andrews and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
